Living Architecture
The first documentary to examine the creative process of architect Tadao Ando. Globally renowned for exposed concrete structures that radiate natural vitality, Ando has broken new ground as an architect. How, exactly, does he do it? The program focuses on two contrasting smaller structures: one a tiny seaside house on a plot measuring four meters by four meters, the other a temple in the countryside. Both reveal how Ando attempts to achieve his goal of creating living architecture.
