Dave Brubeck: Festival International de Jazz de Montreal
This American pianist and composer established his reputation in the mid-50s and is now recognized as a “Living Legend” by the Library of Congress, and a jazz icon. Over the past half century Dave has received many awards and accolades in recognition of his ongoing contributions to jazz, including a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, honorary Doctorates from six American universities, and induction into the International Jazz Hall of Fame. Additionally, he has performed for eight U.S. Presidents, princes, kings, and Pope John Paul II.
