America's Hangar
The entire history of aviation is captured under one massive roof at The Air and Space Museum Udvar-Hazy Center. This Hangar contains a mind-boggling array of aircraft and space artifacts. We take our viewers among aircraft and small artifacts located on the floor, and view aircraft hanging from the arched ceiling on elevated skywalks. Many engines, helicopters, ultra-lights, and experimental flying machines are on display in a museum setting for the first time.
